Writing Descriptions
- Be accurate and honest about condition
- Include brand, size, and material
- Mention any flaws, stains, or wear
- Describe the fit (e.g., "fits like a medium")
- Add measurements if possible
Setting Your Price
Consider these factors when pricing:
- Original retail price
- Current condition
- Brand and desirability
- Similar items on the platform
- Remember: buyers can offer 70-100% of your asking price
Managing Offers
Receiving Offers
When a buyer makes an offer on your item:
- You'll receive a notification
- The offer will be at least 70% of your asking price
- You have 24 hours to respond
Response Options
You can:
- Accept: The item is immediately reserved, and the buyer must pay within 24 hours
- Decline: The buyer is notified, and the item remains listed
- Counter-offer: Make one counter-offer; the buyer then has 24 hours to respond
- No response: The offer automatically expires after 24 hours
Multiple Offers
If you receive multiple offers:
- You can accept any valid offer
- When you accept one, all others are automatically declined
- The item is immediately removed from the marketplace
Delivery to Drop-off Points
After a Sale
Once your item is sold (buyer has paid):
- You have 4 business days to deliver the item
- Take the item to the designated drop-off point
- Show your drop-off code to the local ambassador
- The ambassador will conduct a visual inspection
- The buyer is notified that the item is ready for pickup
Packaging
- Clean and fold the item neatly
- Use a bag or packaging to protect it
- Ensure it's in the condition described
Important Notes
Responsibility: You remain responsible for the item during transport to the drop-off point. Blaire is not liable for damage, loss, or theft during delivery, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
Visual Inspection: The local ambassador will conduct a visual inspection to promote reliability, but they are not liable for missed defects or damage.
Getting Paid
First time selling? You'll need to set up your payment account first. See our complete Payments & Payouts Guide for step-by-step instructions.
Payment Timeline
Your payout is processed after:
- The buyer completes payment
- You deliver the item to the drop-off point
- The buyer collects the item
- The 2-day complaint period expires without valid SNAD claims
Payment Holds (Escrow)
The buyer's payment is held in escrow by Stripe until all conditions above are met. This protects both buyers and sellers.
Seller Fees
Sellers keep 100% of their listing price - no seller fees at all. Buyers pay a small protection fee (8% + €1.50) on top of the item price. For example, if you list an item for €20, you receive €20 when it sells. The buyer pays €23.10 total.
Handling Complaints
SNAD Claims
Buyers can file a Significantly Not As Described (SNAD) claim within 2 days of pickup if the item:
- Is a different size, brand, color, or condition than stated
- Is non-authentic (counterfeit)
How to Avoid SNAD Claims
- Be completely honest in your descriptions
- Take clear photos showing any flaws
- Accurately state the size and brand
- Don't hide defects or damage
- Only sell authentic items
If a Claim is Filed
Blaire will review the claim and determine if it's valid. If the claim is justified, the buyer may receive a refund and you won't receive payment. Always describe items accurately to avoid this.
